September 5, 2011Welcome to Myrons Sticker Department. So you’ll know how big they are, all stickers are scanned in at 75dpi, and displayed full size. This makes them all to the same scale, which is close to actual size on a typical screen. Also the aproximate size in inches is listed in the item description. This first group of stickers are the ones for sale. They are peel and stick stickers, not decals that you soak in water, unless they say “decal”. Some of the older ones have minor folds or blemishes. Aren’t stickers fun to look at? Below the stickers for sale is the price list. Scroll down to see the prices. The price is for each unless it says “set”. So it fits many different handlebars, all 7/8″ thick. Clear Lexan shield can be positioned higher, so you always look through it, or lower, so you most of the time look over it. The Piston Position Indicator Tool tells you where the piston is at, in the range near top. Moped engines fire the spark plug when the piston is 1.5 to 2.0mm before top. That’s the moment when the points open, called the ignition timing. When you loosen the points mounting screw, they can shift, and change the ignition timing. Then you have to adjust the “gap” so they open at the correct moment, which is specified in either piston position (mm) or crankshaft angle (degrees). Vespa and Peugeot set to 1.5mm (0.060″) BTDC, Puch, Motobecane, Tomos, Derbi and others, set to 2.0mm (0.080″). Do not confuse piston position with points gap, which is 0.35mm (0.014″) to 0.46mm (0.018″). A wider points gap will cause an earlier (advanced) ignition timing. A smaller points gap causes a later (retarded) ignition timing. Using a timing tool in the spark plug hole is more accurate than any other method. Click to enlarge.

Myrons Shirts come in many colors, mens and ladies style. On the back they have the Myrons Mopeds Logo big with Fullerton CA 714-992-5592 below it. On the front they just have the Myrons Mopeds Logo small on the left chest. To help with size selection, a ladies medium is a little smaller than a mens small, and a ladies large is slightly smaller than a mens medium. These high quality 100% cotton, pre-shrunk, shirts are bright and cheerful. They make a nice gift.
